Adriel Martinez, who turns 25 on September 20th, was born in Elko Nevada and moved to Boise shortly after his birth. Adriel has lived mostly in Boise his whole life with short stints in Meridian, Nampa, and other parts of the Treasure Valley. He graduated from Nampa High School in 2009 a semester early in order to get a jump on life.
Adriel joined the Army during high school and left for basic shortly after graduating from high school. He served four and a half years as an Airborne and Mechanized Infantry soldier. He was stationed overseas in Italy and in Washington state. He was also deployed twice to Afghanistan in Support of OEF X and XII for a year each time. Adriel was honorably discharged in 2013 after his loyal service to his country.
Adriel has worked for a few different retailers in the area including Shopko during high school and Best Buy most recently. He has also worked as a security guard over at a St Al’s hospital location. His political experience has come from multiple sources over the years. He worked on the Walt Minnick for Congress Campaign during 2008 as a volunteer. He volunteered for multiple campaigns in Washington state knocking door to door in Tacoma for Jay Inslee, Maria Cantwell, and Denny Heck. He went and made calls for A.J. Balukoff also during his run for governor this past year. Adriel is currently a student at Boise State and his slated to graduate in December with his Bachelors of Political Science.
