Assembly Application

Assembly permits are required for places of business and special events where more than 50 people are gathered. These are issued on an annual basis for businesses and one-time for special events. If you are unsure if you need an assembly permit, please contact the Office of the City Clerk at (208) 972-8150 or cityclerk@cityofboise.org


Renew Online

Step 1: Set Up Account in New Online System

  • In order to renew your license online in our new system, we need you to set up a system account. Set up your account here.

Step 2: Link Your Account to Your Existing License - YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS STEP BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE ONLINE APPLICATION

  • Once you have set up your account, please contact the City Clerk's office at (208) 972-8150 or cityclerk@cityofboise.org so your online account can be linked to your existing License. To make this process easier, please have your current license number available.
  • Once your new system account has been linked to your license, proceed to Step 3.
  • YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS STEP BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE ONLINE APPLICATION. 

Step 3: Apply Online + Pay Application Fee

  • Login here to the new online permitting and licensing system with the account you set up in step 2.
  • After logging, select "My Records" from the Home menu area in the top navigation. You will find your renewal in your "Licenses" list.
  • Click on the record ID, and proceed with the application.

Apply for a New License Online

The City of Boise has recently launched a new online permitting and licensing system that allows you to apply online. First time users of this system will be required to set up an account. 

  1. Login here. If you are a first time user you will need to create an account
  2. After logging in, click "APPLY > LICENSE" in the top menu bar.
    • Review and accept the online disclaimer.
    • Select the Assembly Application from the menu and apply.
